Finally, after a much delayed re-launch, we are pleased to be able to announce that the The Port Albert Project has finally been updated with a whole new look and much more content. The past few months have been quite busy, and as such, I haven't had the time to put into getting this completed as fast as I wanted to, but as the old saying goes... better late than never.
The response from everyone has been wonderful, with lots of pictures coming in and posted here for you to see. I have also corrected information where folks have spotted errors, and I thank you all for your input. I still have a few items to get installed on the site, and will do that over the next few days, however between now and the end of April, I have to make some time to file my income tax. It's sad to think that the Government of Canada will not be able to function after the end of the month without the few measley dollars it squeezes out of me. I never knew that I was such a vital link in the ongoing Canadian economy!! LOL.
I will keep this short as I have to get the new site uploaded so that everyone can see what your input into the project has done. Again, thank you all so very much for your help, and keep the information and photos coming. Everyone with whom I've spoken, or heard from via email, has told me how much they appreciate seeing your contributions.
Don't forget... if you're planning on attending the Elliott Family Reunion this August, please ensure that you register as soon as possible. The organizing committee needs to hear from you so that they can ensure that everyone is accommodated.
One last favour to ask of everyone. I've tried to ensure that all links within the site are working, but I may have missed one or two... so... if you happen to find any links that are not working, please let me know right away and I will fix them.
That's it for now... have a great spring and don't forget to drop us a line when you get a chance.
