You Make This Site Possible
Before there was ever any thought given to making a website about Port Albert, there was that inner desire that all of us carry inside, and that's to know where we come from, and what secrets the past holds about who and what we are. There's not one of us who hasn't, at one time or another, wished that we could go back in time and meet and speak with those who have gone before us. In years to come, those we leave behind will wish the same thing. This is our opportunity to preserve our thoughts and memories for those who will follow us.
Unfortunately, mankind has not come close to perfecting time travel. We can however, share our thoughts, memories, tales and photos about Port Albert and in our own special way, go back into time through these venues. That's why The Port Albert Project is so important, and a way for all of us to collectively share that which we hold near and dear about our connection to this wonderful community.
There are no big or small contributors to this project. No one's contribution is more important or less important than the next person's. Every contribution is of equal value and significance. Each submission holds some special memory for the person sharing it with us, and we gratefully acknowledge whatever you've done to improve our site. We've begun an undertaking that needs your help. We would still like to have more material but cannot do it on our own. That is where you come in. If you can help us in any way, we would love to hear from you.
The people whose names appear on the left have contributed in helping get The Port Albert Project launched. They are listed here, not in order of importance, because there is no order of importance. They are simply listed in alphabetical order by last name. Thank you one and all.
